Girls Spring Varsity

Fun scrimmage Saturday night! Thanks to everyone who showed up and to Head Coach Steve for refereeing! Great to see our rising freshmen playing well with our upperclassmen for some high-quality hockey against a strong LFHS team!

Our next scrimmage is this Wednesday night April 23rd 9:15 pm vs. Maine at Iceland / Niles. We are the away team so please plan to wear purple / away jerseys (but also bring white / home jerseys just in case).

The following scrimmage after that will be an early one at home this Sunday night April 27th 5:00 pm vs. Loyola Academy on Rink A, immediately followed by our Season End Team Party and Senior Send-off at North Branch Restaurant beginning at 6:30 pm.

As always, please confirm your players' availability on Crossbar for these scrimmages and our team party.

RISING FRESHMEN AND ALL PARENTS ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE TEAM PARTY! Please respond to this email to confirm how many people will accompany your player to the team party so we can give North Branch a final headcount.

Everyone should have their 2 spring jerseys now (1 white / 1 purple) except for 3 players (Kamensky, Bowman, Ptak). I have those remaining players' jerseys and will bring them to our scrimmages to hand out. Please let me know if you want to make other arrangements. And everyone who ordered them should've received an email invoice from Offensive Zone that you can pay online, over the phone, or in person.

First scrimmage Saturday 6:40 pm vs. Lake Forest at home / Glenview Rink A

Please have your player plan to wear their white practice jersey (or any white jersey) as the home team. But as always, please bring your purple practice jersey (or any dark jersey) just in case. Please be fully dressed and ready to hit the ice 5 minutes before our 6:40 pm scrimmage time.

PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR PLAYERS' AVAILABILITY ON CROSSBAR ASAP for this scrimmage, and for all future scrimmages on our team schedule. It is critical that coaches know ahead of time how many players to expect.

Our second scrimmage comes quickly on this Wednesday night April 23rd 9:15 pm vs. Maine at Iceland / Niles. I know it's a later time on a school night, but it's the only ice slot Maine could offer. Please confirm your player's ability for this scrimmage and all future ones, if possible.

UNIFORMS: New players and any returning players who need replacements, please order your spring / practice jerseys from Offensive Zone ASAP. And feel free order your fall / regular season game uniforms now to avoid delays.

Note that we will NOT be doing the reversible spring / practice jerseys as previously communicated. They will take too long. So Offensive Zone has been given the go ahead by the Board to produce the set of 2 (1 white / 1 purple) spring / practice jerseys for 7 new / rising freshman players registered for spring. And we are pushing them to have those ready for our first scrimmage this Saturday night.

END OF SEASON TEAM PARTY

We are confirmed for next Sunday night April 27th 6:30 pm at North Branch Restaurant, immediately following our home scrimmage with Loyola.
